| jazz j | checked jazzjournal.co.uk tinymce plugin ibrowser was updated on 7/6/2015. This was a Sunday and I was in Turkey. On the 11 June looks like I looked at this. Not sure what was done here. Hi Eddie Thank you for alerting us with this email. I have gone through the jazzjournal.co.uk website and there haven't been any dodgy files added. Your email went into my spam box and when I checked in there I found that web-design had received a practically identical email from this fake inland revenue about 7 hours prior to yours. Your email went to your hotmail account and mine went to my gmail account. Both emails originated from Softlayer Technologies in Australia. My sender authentication was supposedly hotmail.com and yours jazzjournal.co.uk. This authentication is written by the end users provider (yours being hotmail and mine gmail) based on the message envelope written by the originator of the email - so you can put a lot of rubbish in here. The likelihood is that your email address has been scraped from your hotmail account provider and you will have links to jazzjournal in there too. The same with mine - gmail has been having problems with address books being pulled too and I have a number of hotmail accounts in my mail. gmail is pretty good at moving scam emails into spam folders and they also strip out a lot of html editing tags which makes valid emails more secure. The only ip addresses were from Microsoft dublin and softlayer technologies and gmail. Jazzjournal is hosted by Servage in Germany and there was no trace of any of their ip addresses. You have mentioned that this particular spam you have had before so your email is already out there with a dodgy company. You did the best thing by investigating the source of the email and alerting us and then refusing to click on the link. If you see anymore like this please forward on to us. I agree we would all be millionaires if we were to believe the emails. This one was only offering £350.90, tiny in comparison to the 7million dollars some are offering! | 1.50 | 0.00 | |
