| kls | email to emma as work not done Sorry this will not be complete this week as I am travelling early tomorrow morning to Devon for my brother-in-law's cremation and will be there till Thursday night as the funeral is Thursday afternoon. Last week was tricky helping with the arrangements so I did not get the work done that I needed to do. work on splitting trainingcourse.tpl to training-course-admin and same so to have tabs on admin 4 hours move over training-course to kls and add zoom to db courses stage 1; I suggest you market it this week and I will split the new logic into 3 stages: Stage I: add the logic to live site for you to add the zoom links to the event. This will be ready by tomorrow morning when you will see these extra fields on your entering of the event. This stage is transparent to the booker. Nothing else will change. If a booking is done you will need to issue an invoice in the normal way or wait for stage 2 on Friday. Stage II Logic will be added which saves the booking to a database table and creates an invoice which will be sent with the email giving KLS bank details. The admin tabs will be added to your administrator page which will allow you to add a booking -so any which have happened prior to Friday (this facility will not be necessary after new logic installed but can be used if booked not through the system). You will also be able to update a booking for those who have not been able to make an online booking payment; so you can enter payment; etc associated with the booking the booker made. You will also be able to resend an invoice with email individually giving the zoom link etc. Plus facility to press a button to send emails out to all bookers on this course who have paid with the zoom link info. This stage is transparent to the booker. Stage III Add the PayPal buttons and facility to pay by payPal. When pressing the button to pay the booking will be saved on the DB. If the PayPal transaction doesn't happen for any reason ie payment rejected; booker dropped out then the booker will be sent an invoice together with email with details of course; payment not registered and this will then follow the manual route of booker paying by cheque or bank transfer. You will then need to go into the booking tab and update this booking. You can then select option to send email with zoom link; option for booker to add event to outlook. The automated system will then send out email the day before the event as with all other bookers for this course. If the PayPal transaction does complete then an IPN will return with successful. This will trigger email with paid invoice; course details; zoom links and option to add event to bookers outlook This will be done following week. | kls | looking at the email protocol for kentlawsociety It appears that some of the emails are being rejected using plain mail() so now going to use phpmailer as this seems to be more stable on HI. Currently using this on servage but did a test email using both from servage and this worked but not on HI..
